| Hargrave Family Home This is the farmhouse at Beach Ridge, Quebec, Canada. Still in use today, although not by our as family. built about 1819. The area was known "the Scotch Concessions" for all the Scots settled there. Across the road is the Beach Ridge Presbyterian Church built about 1820. Many of the Hargraves are buried in the cemetery behind the church. (Photo given to me by Malcom Sissons who's family is posing on front steps) |
