Sad day as I just posted my mother's (Lorraine Trattner) Obituary notice.  Just want to say she was loved very much and will be greatly missed.  And to say a big thank you to my brother and his wife who looked after mom and took great care of her.  LOVE YOU BOTH!!

Today I have added the Whitehuse (my husband Henry's side of the family.)  Also obituary's for Henry's mother and grandfather.  Through my research found out my husband was actually Henry John Whitehouse the 3rd.  He didn't know that and was happy when he found out.

Added the Browne name to the family tree.  This is my husband Henry's mother's side of the family.  I have added her father George Francis Browne information and her brother Bert Browne Memoirs.  This is quite a story and Bert did a good job in writting it down.

New Obitts for Fouts and Haugens

Just posted 4 new Obitts today.  One on John T. Fout a great pioneer from Yamhill County.  And three on the Haugen side of the family.  Howard E and his brother Peters wife Myrtle(Wilson) Haugen. And their mother Sarah.

  I really enjoyed myself today adding new genealogy information and photo's.  I want to thank my daughter Denise for encouraging me to share some of the information I've found on our family.  I wanted to make it personal by telling stories about our ancestors. 
  I also want to thank those genealogy cousins who have shared their information and hard work with me. 
  I get such a thrill when I find new information, and I can hardly wait to share it.  When I visit a new cemetery and find family members I always say "gone but not forgotten".  And now that I can share some of the stories you will see how amazing our ancestors were. 
 

I am so excited my daughter help me get my blog set up today.  I have been wanting to do this for some time so that I could start sharing our family history.  This is going to be fun.
